Main mission

This position will be responsibile for setting up a structure to measure Solina’s environmental and economic performance related to the Packaging Strategy: to reduce cost & complexity, to make sustainability a competitive advantage and to transform to insight led innovation,  allowing the decisions toward more sustainable and profitable packaging solutions. Start to pilot and collect data for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Investigate how to set the baseline on used materials in absolute tonnage per portfolio and category, and how monitor and communicate the performance towards the set targets.   
• Propose how to manage packaging data within Solina’s systems, which includes the packaging administration for regulatory and taxes.
• Recommend a synergised system for packaging specifications in close collaboration with quality, procurement and technical documentation.
• Propose a WOW for packaging LCA data entries and cocreation of sustainability reports with Solina’s sustainability department.
• Investigate how to measure and report data driven performance to monitor and steer corrections/changes to deliver the set targets on complexity & cost reduction and Solina’s targets on packaging sustainability.
